LEAPS is a widening participation programme which aims to encourage and advise young people who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education. We work with young people in South East Scotland, supporting aspirations and providing impartial advice about higher education. We currently work with state secondary schools throughout South East Scotland, supporting pupils who match LEAPS eligibility criteria. We are funded by our higher education institution and local council partners, and we are supported by Skills Development Scotland.LEAPS also delivers the Scottish Funding Council’s Schools for Higher Education Programme (SHEP) in South East Scotland, in partnership with the National Schools Programme, to support Senior Phase pupils in Scotland from backgrounds of socioeconomic disadvantage and underrepresented groups to access higher education in university.Please watch our What is LEAPS?
