This session is a general introduction to new students starting the LEAPS Transitions Course in 2025/26. Students (new S6 pupils) will receive an introductory lecture, taster tutorial, and 1:1 onboarding meetings. Any volunteer from any university can take part! We are just looking for friendly and talkative volunteers who can welcome new high school pupils onto our course. Your role will be in the sessions to socialise with the students to encourage conversations and take part in varying light-touch (and hopefully fun!) tasks to get them talking to each other and asking general questions about university as well helping to guide students around the buildings.
